The Context:
The B N Patel Institute of Paramedical and Science, in collaboration with A D Gorwala Blood bank and Indian Red Cross Society, Anand, organized an annual blood donation drive. This event aimed to engage students, faculty and staff in advocating for blood donation, fostering a sense of community involvement and altruism.
The Practice:
1. Event Organization:
- Conducted a yearly blood donation drive on November 30th.
- Forged a collaborative alliance with a local blood bank like A D Gorwala Blood bank and Indian Red Cross Society, Anand.
- Welcomed participation from all students, faculty, friends of students and staff members.
2. Awareness Campaign:
- Disseminated informative emails, messages, as well as adorned the campus with posters and banners to promote the event. Student's council of the institute also inform and motivate students for the Blood Donation.
